Former Vice President Al Gore explains the facts of global warming, presents arguments that the dangers of global warning have reached the level of crisis, and addresses the efforts of certain interests to discredit the anti-global warming cause. Between lecture segments, Gore discusses his personal commitment to the environment, sharing anecdotes from his experiences.

Laurie David has devoted herself to stopping global warming. She founded the Stop Global Warming Virtual March, that is engaging Americans from all walks of life in urging the U.S. to address the issue. Environmental activist Laurie David, producer of the documentary film An Inconvenient Truth, has been awarded a rare Humanitas Prize Special Award at the Cannes Film Festival. David was honored by Glamour Magazine as one of its Women of the Year for her work on global warming. Earlier this year, she received the prestigious Gracie Allen Award for Individual Achievement by American Women in Radio & Television and the Natural Resources Defense Council 2006 Forces for Nature award.
